I grew up road tripping around the United States and visiting as many National Parks as we could on our summer vacations. We camped whether rain, thunder, or blazing hot sunshine. As a kid, I loved it all. The rest of the year I dabbled in any arts and craft projects I could get into, from painting to sewing to woodshop. Life seemed full of miracles and possibilities.
Having grown up in Silicon Valley, I’ve seen how amazing technological advancements can be and the positive impact they can have on society. This is what sparked my amazement and interest in the tech industry. However, throughout my life, I’ve used my fair share of products that look great but don’t function well or products that function well but look terrible. What’s amazing is that UX merges beautiful designs with functionality in a way that excites me. This is why I’m interested in UX and why it makes me tick. It’s the combination of beauty, functionality, the possibility to improve people’s lives and make the world a better place.
My positive attitude has allowed me to be flexible and helps me learn easily, efficiently, and quickly. I have abilities and experience in organization, prioritization, communication, the confidentiality of sensitive information, and detailed preparation for projects. My ability to get along well with others, to make necessary adjustments to reach goals, and effectively coordinate in fast-paced environments have all contributed to my growth and past employers placing trust in me.
I’m always looking for opportunities to grow and create value to build positive impacts through a human-centered mindset. Please reach out to me.
